Continued..... Some of our members have or are purchasing their own more powerful sirens and we are currently working to alter the siren sound, to make it more unique. We receive no funding from central or local government, so we are totally reliant on donations or money we raise with sausage sizzles and the like.
Should you like to help us (help you), donations can be made directly to the “Russell Civil Defence Response Group” - Westpac bank account 03 0394 0206967 00. Include “siren” in the references field and an email address, so we can provide a receipt.
Any amount, large or small, will be gratefully received. In the future we plan to test the siren system on the “daylight saving” change over days. We will advise in advance. “help us to help you, to get through”
